Supported Integrations

Lifetime QR Codes currently supports the following integrations. All of them are available on every paid plan and can be configured independently:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — send scan events to your GA4 property for unified traffic reporting and audience building.
  • Meta Pixel — fire pixel events on every scan to build Custom Audiences and measure ad attribution on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Zapier — trigger automated workflows in 6,000+ apps whenever a QR code is scanned or a form is submitted.
  • Webhooks — send real-time HTTP POST payloads to any URL you control, enabling custom integrations with your own systems or third-party services not listed above.

Accessing the Integrations Panel

  1. Log in to your Lifetime QR Codes dashboard.
  2. Click your avatar or account name in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Account Settings from the dropdown.
  4. Click the Integrations tab. All available integrations are listed here, each with a status badge showing whether it is active or not configured.

Adding an Integration

Each integration card in the Integrations panel has a Configure button. Click it to open the setup form for that integration. Depending on the integration, you will be asked to:

  • Paste an API key, Pixel ID, or Measurement ID (GA4, Meta Pixel).
  • Connect your Zapier account via OAuth and choose a trigger event (Zapier).
  • Enter a destination URL and optionally set a secret header for request verification (Webhooks).

After filling in the required fields, click Save. The integration is activated immediately and will fire on the next scan or event.

Removing an Integration

To disconnect an integration, open its configuration card in the Integrations panel and click Remove or clear the credential field and save. The integration stops firing immediately. No historical data in external platforms is affected — data already sent to GA4, Meta, or your webhook endpoint remains there.

Use Cases for Each Integration

  • Google Analytics 4: Best for brands that already use GA4 as their analytics hub. Combine QR scan events with website sessions to see the full user journey from physical scan to conversion. Use GA4's Funnel Exploration to measure drop-off.
  • Meta Pixel: Ideal for businesses running Facebook or Instagram ad campaigns. Anyone who scans a code can be added to a Custom Audience and retargeted with ads — bridging print or out-of-home advertising with digital remarketing.
  • Zapier: Perfect for automating follow-ups. For example: when a contact form QR code is submitted, Zapier can automatically add the respondent to a Mailchimp list, send a Slack notification to your sales team, or create a row in Google Sheets.
  • Webhooks: The most flexible option for technical teams. Use webhooks to push scan events into a custom CRM, a data warehouse like BigQuery, or an internal dashboard in real time. The payload includes the full scan record including QR code ID, timestamp, device, and location.

Integration Limits & Notes

  • You can have all four integrations active simultaneously — they fire independently and do not interfere with each other.
  • Webhook delivery is attempted with a 10-second timeout. Failed deliveries are retried up to 3 times with exponential backoff.
  • Zapier and Webhook events are triggered at the moment of scan, typically within 1–2 seconds.
  • GA4 and Meta Pixel events are fired client-side as the redirect page loads, so they depend on the scanner's browser executing JavaScript.
