Viewing All Users

The User Management page gives account Admins a complete, real-time list of everyone with access to the workspace — including active members, pending invitations, and deactivated accounts.

  1. In the sidebar, click Team Management.
  2. The Members tab shows all current users with their name, email address, role, and the date they joined.
  3. Use the search bar to find a specific user by name or email.
  4. Use the Role filter to view only Admins, Editors, or Viewers at a time.

Changing a User's Role

You can change any member's role at any time without removing and re-inviting them. The new permissions take effect the next time they load the dashboard (or immediately on their next action).

  1. Find the user in the Members list.
  2. Click the Role badge next to their name (e.g., "Editor").
  3. Select the new role from the dropdown: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.
  4. The change is saved automatically — no additional confirmation step is required.

Only Admins can change roles. You cannot downgrade your own role if you are the sole Admin on the account — promote another Admin first.

Deactivating a User

Deactivating a user revokes their access immediately without permanently deleting their account history. This is the recommended approach when someone leaves your team, since it preserves audit trail records associated with their activity.

  1. Open Team ManagementMembers.
  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the user's name.
  3. Select Deactivate User.
  4. Confirm the action. The user is immediately signed out of all active sessions and can no longer log in to the workspace.

Deactivated users appear in the list with a Deactivated badge. Admins can reactivate a user at any time by clicking the same three-dot menu and selecting Reactivate.

No Seat Limits — Unlimited Users

Lifetime QR Codes does not charge per seat or impose a cap on the number of users you can add to your account. Whether you have two team members or two hundred, you can invite them all at no additional cost. This applies to all plans, including Standard and Business.

This means you can freely give Viewer access to clients, stakeholders, or external agencies without worrying about seat pricing. Only the features and QR code volume associated with your plan apply — not the headcount.

Audit Logs

The audit log records every significant action taken within your account, along with the user who performed it, the timestamp, and the affected resource. This is valuable for compliance, troubleshooting, and understanding how your workspace is being used.

Actions captured in the audit log include:

  • QR code created, edited, or deleted
  • Destination URL changed
  • Team member invited, role changed, or removed
  • Custom domain added or removed
  • Branding settings updated
  • API key generated or revoked
  • Account settings changed (billing, integrations, white-label)

To access audit logs, go to Account SettingsAudit Log. You can filter by date range, action type, or specific user, and export the log as a CSV for external review.
