White-Label
White-Label
Remove all Lifetime QR Codes branding from the scan experience and replace it with your own — ideal for agencies and resellers who want to deliver the platform under their brand.
What Does White-Label Mean?
White-label means your customers and clients interact with the Lifetime QR Codes platform entirely under your branding — they never see the Lifetime QR Codes name, logo, or any reference to the underlying technology. From their perspective, you have built and operate a proprietary QR code platform.
This includes all scan landing pages, redirect URLs (via your custom domain), email notifications, the browser tab title, favicons, and any error pages. The result is a seamless, professional product experience that reflects your brand rather than ours.
Enabling White-Label
White-label is available on the Business and Enterprise plans. To enable it:
- Go to Account Settings in your dashboard.
- Select the White-Label tab.
- Toggle Enable White-Label Mode to on.
- Upload your logo and set your brand colors if you have not done so already (see the Custom Branding article).
- Enter your Brand Name — this replaces "Lifetime QR Codes" in any UI text visible to scanners.
- Click Save. Changes apply immediately to all scan experiences.
Custom Scan Page Domains
White-label works hand-in-hand with custom domains. Without a custom domain, your redirect URLs would still show Lifetime QR Codes.link in the browser bar — which would reveal the platform. With a custom domain connected (e.g., scan.youragency.com), the entire URL is branded.
When white-label is active and a custom domain is configured:
- QR code short links use your domain:
scan.youragency.com/abc123 - Hosted landing pages (mini-sites, menus, digital cards) load on your domain.
- The SSL certificate is issued for your domain automatically.
- No Lifetime QR Codes URLs appear anywhere in the scan journey.
See the Custom Domains article for step-by-step DNS setup instructions.
The Reseller Use Case
White-label is particularly powerful for agencies and resellers who want to offer QR code management as part of their own product suite or client services:
- Agencies: Manage QR code campaigns for multiple clients within a single Lifetime QR Codes account. Each client only sees your agency's branding — they have no idea Lifetime QR Codes is powering the platform. You control billing and retain the client relationship.
- SaaS resellers: Embed QR code creation and management into your own software product. Use the API (see the API Access article) to programmatically create and update codes, and surface results within your own UI. Your end users experience a native feature, not a third-party integration.
- Franchisors: Deploy QR code tools to franchisees under your brand. Franchisees log in to a platform that looks like yours, with no awareness of the underlying infrastructure.
How Clients Experience the Platform
When white-label is fully configured, here is what the end-to-end experience looks like for a client or scanner:
- They scan a QR code printed on physical media (menu, poster, business card).
- Their browser opens a URL on your custom domain (
scan.youragency.com/...). - The landing page shows your logo, your brand colors, and your brand name — not Lifetime QR Codes.
- Any "powered by" attribution in the footer is removed entirely.
- If you share analytics access with a client (via a Viewer account), the dashboard they see also uses your brand name in the page title and sidebar.
To go further and give clients their own login to manage their codes, create a separate team for each client (see the Team Management article) and invite them as Admins of their own team while you retain access as a top-level Admin.
